Forever friends

It is now my time to move on,
I now feel i no longer need you too lean on,
I always thought life would never again be good,
Even though lots of people told me it would,
I will always hold you in my heart,
And I’m really glad we are friends, even though we are apart,
I’ll never regret the day we met,
The times we had I’ll also never forget,
For we shared a love that was honest and true,
Because of this I’ll always remember you,
the times we had the love we shared,
nothing in the world could be compared,
so as i ponder into what i cannot see,
I just know forever friends we will be.
